Expand Your Hike’rizons

Hi there! We’re an active group of outdoor enthusiasts based in the Pacific Northwest. We got started in the beginning of 2021 on Meetup, and we’re looking to expand our own “Hike’rizons”. We see ourselves as a growing community of genuine friendships that share common interests and values. We strive to grow in ways that foster open, honest communication and meaningful connections. Most of our events are organized around outdoor adventures; although for us, the destination is secondary to the relationships we build along the way. Most of our events will have more than one hike leader, and they will encourage participation, teamwork, and leadership from everyone – especially those that are new to the group. This group adventures outdoors all 4 seasons around the Pacific Northwest.

Expand Your Hike’rizons isn’t just a place to organize hikes and outdoor events. We are also a community that embraces diversity, open and honest communication, and growth. “Expand Your Hike’rizons” represents the group’s vision and culture. For us, expanding one’s horizons refers to the expansion of life skills and perspectives both on and off the trail. It’s been a wild couple of years, and we’re ready for some positive growth with like-minded people!
